Privacy Policy

The short version

Dad Construction is a small, family-owned remodeling company in Omaha, Nebraska. We collect contact and project information so we can respond to your request and estimate your work accurately. We do not sell your information, we do not rent it, and we do not share it with anyone who is not directly helping us complete your project.

Information we collect

Information you give us. When you submit our estimate request or contact form, call, or text us, we collect the information you provide — typically your name, phone number, email address, property address, budget range, preferred contact method, and a description of your project. Only the fields marked required are necessary.

Information collected automatically. Like most websites, ours may record standard technical information such as your IP address, browser type, device type, referring page, and which pages you visited. If analytics are enabled, this is collected in aggregate to understand which pages are useful — not to identify you personally.

Photographs. With your permission, we photograph completed projects for our portfolio. We never publish a street address, and we will not publish photos of your home if you ask us not to.

How we use your information

• To respond to your estimate request, question, or message.
• To prepare an accurate written estimate for your project.
• To schedule site visits, order materials, and coordinate work.
• To communicate with you during and after your project, including warranty follow-up.
• To meet legal, tax, insurance, and permitting obligations.

Phone calls, text messages, and email

When you check the consent box on one of our forms, you are agreeing that we may contact you about your request by phone, text message, or email. Message and data rates may apply to text messages. We only send messages related to your project or inquiry — no marketing blasts, no newsletters you did not ask for.

You can opt out at any time by replying STOP to a text message, by asking us not to call, or by emailing [email protected]. Opting out of messages will not affect any work already in progress.

Who we share information with

We share only what is necessary, only with parties directly involved in your project or in operating this website:

• Licensed trade partners (electricians, plumbers, HVAC) working on your project.
• Suppliers and fabricators who need measurements or a delivery address.
• Building departments and inspectors, where a permit requires it.
• Our form delivery provider, which transmits submissions to our email inbox.
• Our hosting provider, which operates the servers this website runs on.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to anyone, for any reason. We may disclose information if required by law, subpoena, or to protect our legal rights.

Cookies and analytics

This website does not use advertising cookies or third-party tracking pixels. If website analytics are enabled, they are configured with IP anonymization and are used only to understand which pages homeowners find useful. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings without losing access to any part of this site.

How long we keep information

We keep estimate requests and project records as long as necessary to serve you and to satisfy warranty, tax, insurance, and legal requirements — generally at least seven years for completed projects. Inquiries that do not become projects are kept for a much shorter period. You may ask us to delete your information at any time and we will do so unless we are legally required to retain it.

Your choices

You can ask us what information we have about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, or ask us to stop contacting you. Just email [email protected] or call (402) 812-3298. A real person will handle it.

Security

This site is served over an encrypted HTTPS connection and form submissions are transmitted securely. No system is perfect, but we limit who has access to your information and we do not store payment card details on this website.

Children

This website is intended for homeowners and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle information, we will update this page and revise the date at the top. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated policy.
