Herringbone tile backsplash installed in an Omaha kitchen remodel

Layout planned, cuts hidden, grout lines true

Tile Installation in Omaha

Showers, floors, backsplashes, and feature walls set with proper substrate, waterproofing, and layout — including the patterns that are hard to get right.

Tile is unforgiving. Every decision — where the layout starts, which cut goes where, how the grout joint sizes out — is permanent and visible from across the room.

We dry-lay and chalk the room before mortar comes out of the bucket. Full tiles land where the eye goes first. Cuts get pushed to corners, under vanities, and behind doors. Patterns line up through niches and around corners.

Underneath, we use the right substrate for the location: cement board or foam board with a bonded waterproof membrane in wet areas, uncoupling membrane over slabs and questionable subfloors.

Why homeowners hire us for this

Layout planned before install

We chalk the room and dry-fit so you know exactly how the tile will land before anything is permanent.

Correct substrate every time

Waterproof membrane in showers, uncoupling membrane over concrete and plywood. Tile fails from what is underneath it.

Large-format and pattern work

Herringbone, chevron, basketweave, and large-format porcelain — including the leveling systems those need to come out flat.

Grout and caulk detailing

Color-matched caulk at every change of plane instead of grout that will crack out in a year.

Questions

Tile Installation questions we get a lot

Straight answers, no hedging. Call if yours is not covered here.

Always. Cement board alone is not waterproof. We use a bonded sheet or liquid membrane system with sealed seams and corners.
